Our Story
Kathy Smith, Founder
“The story of Loving Liberty”
Kathy Smith founded Loving Liberty, Inc. and the Loving Liberty Radio Network in 2018 to honor her late husband Bert Smith’s legacy of promoting private property, free markets, and the proper role of government. In 2018, Kathy turned one of Bert’s warehouses into a Liberty Hall and unveiled a monumental bronze statue of George Washington called "Stand Your Ground.” In 2023, Kathy relocated to southern Utah, along with the George Washington statue and the Liberty Hall clock tower, to help build Liberty Village, a 32-acre campus where the lessons and stories of America’s founding era come to life. Kathy is inspired by the faithful women of her Loving Liberty board of directors and her dedicated Loving Liberty Network production team, who model speaking the truth kindly so Americans can come together to keep our great republic. Kathy enjoys hosting friends and family and especially relishes one-on-one time with her eight children and thirty-three grandchildren.
Our Vision
A free and virtuous society
Where everyone can enjoy the blessings of liberty.
