Tour of Glacier National Parks Vintage Snow Machines
A 1952 Tucker Snowcat used in Glacier National Park for many years. There is also a snow crawler that has tracks made for snow. It uses a 1939 Ford flathead V8 engine. There’s the 1930 Model A Ford which was converted to a snow vehicle and used by the mail service in Helena, Montana. There is a Snowbird made by Polaris which has an airplane engine with a pusher prop. More than just snow vehicles in this building, there is a 1926 Model T Ford one-ton tow truck that is named Towmater. It has been in several parades. There is also a Model T Tractor attachment that converts an auto into a tractor.
